Dating expert Frances Kelleher on how to love yourself – to attract love into your life

You first have to see yourself as the person who is confident, who is great with the opposite sex. The next step is to become that person. You work on it – read books on it, hire a coach or do a course on it.

It is a cliché, but we do have to love ourselves before we can love anyone else.  How do we love ourselves in order to get the love we deserve from another person into our lives? That is the question.

Here are three things you can do to love yourself so you can bring more love into your life.

1. Have the correct self-identity.

This is critical for success in life and love, yet no one talks about it. You have to see yourself as the person you want to be in order to get where you want to be. If you see yourself as a useless dater, someone who is not good enough, someone who has no confidence, then you are not going to get far. All you will attract are negative experiences.

You first have to see yourself as the person who is confident, who is great with the opposite sex. The next step is to become that person. How do you do this? You work on it – read books on it, hire a coach or do a course on it. Whatever you need to do to up your skills and confidence. The last things you need to do then is take massive action. This is the difference between winners and losers. Winners take action and put into practice what you have learned.

2. Listen to your thoughts and control them

This is probably the most important thing you can do to love yourself, to to speak to yourself with kindness, compassion and understanding instead of beating yourself up constantly. If you make all your thoughts positive, I promise you your life will change. Doing this also ignites the law of attraction, which will help bring love to you, help you reach your goals quicker and make you a happier person in general. Start today and see the change.

3. Be the best version of yourself you can be

When we look after our health – mental, emotional, and physical – we immediately feel more confident and alive. Eat healthily, exercise and sleep eight hours a night. Have a support system through friends, family, or community. Doing these things will make you healthier, more attractive, more positive, and more confident in dating because you will have better self-esteem and you will be happier. People automatically gravitate towards happy people. When you feel more confident you are braver and thus put yourself outside your comfort zone more which leads you to succeed more.
